The Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon in Hastings is located at Frimley Park. The event will start with a swim held in the outdoor pool located at Frimley Pools beside the park.

The pool is 50m in length, meaning 7 year olds do 1 lap (50m), 8-10 year olds do 2 laps (100m) and 11-15 year olds do 4 laps (200m). TRYathletes are generally able to stand-up during the short swim; however, we do encourage everyone to give swimming a go!

The Transition Area is located on the Frimley Park main field (Lyndhurst Road entrance), so be prepared to run a little from the swim to transition.

The bike is around Frimley Parks' surrounding roads and the run is in the park itself.

What Happens on the Day

8.00-9.15am 1.A. Have your event kit? - Head towards Transition and look for the Check-In flags and tents.

At Transition, your bib will be scanned to check you in to the event and place you into the prize draw. You will then receive your  Arena Swim Cap. Once you have checked in, you will keep moving through transition to position your bike with one parent if  necessary to help you.
(Please note: more than one parent creates too much congestion in the Transition area).
While you’re in Transition, ask a Help Team volunteer to write your bib number on your arm and leg. This will help the  photographers send you the right photos after the event and give the organisers another point of reference to check your details  if necessary.
1.B. Don't have your event kit? - Bring your confirmation email to the Admin Tent where you can collect your Event Kit and  receive answers to any questions you may have.
Once you have received your event kit, make your way to Transition and look for the Check In flags and tents.
You will need to leave the following items in Transition:

• Official Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon t-shirt with Bib Number attached to the front.
• Bike with your event number sticker attached to the handle bars.
• Helmet with your event number sticker attached to the front.
• Running shoes and socks.
