The Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon in Christchurch will return to Jellie Park for its third year at this venue. The swim is located in the Jellie Park Recreation & Sport Centre in a 50m heated outdoor pool. The Transition Area is located outside of the pool complex, on the nearby fields, and the bike and run legs of the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon around the field and surrounding streets.
We create a safe environment where kids can focus on enjoying time with friends on the course or in activities around the Expo Village.
Every child, no matter their ability, is considered a champion and encouraged by Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon Ambassadors. A medallion is awarded for completion.
79% of parents tell us their child felt better about themselves or were glowing with pride on completion and their self-esteem and self-confidence improved.
TRYathletes receive a KIT stuffed full of goodies from Weet-Bix and our sponsors. Plus free breakfast and activities in the village for all.
TRY out your rugby skills on the inflatable All Blacks World obstacle course!
Check out the awesome activities held in the Village while you're waiting for your TRYathlon to begin!
Have your participant bib scanned at the Check In tent when you put your bike into Transition and you’ll go into the draw to win some great prizes!
Our WeetBix Kids TRYathlon Series is supported by our team of TRYathlon ambassadors and each event is attended by at least one of them. You could meet celebrities such as our National Ambassador Valerie Adams!
