What Happens on the Day

7.00-8.15am 1.A. Have your event kit? - Head towards Transition and look for the Check-In flags and tents.

At Transition, your bib will be scanned to check you in to the event and place you into the prize draw. You will then receive your  Arena Swim Cap. Once you have checked in, you will keep moving through transition to position your bike with one parent if  necessary to help you.
(Please note: more than one parent creates too much congestion in the Transition area).
While you’re in Transition, ask a Help Team volunteer to write your bib number on your arm and leg. This will help the  photographers send you the right photos after the event and give the organisers another point of reference to check your details  if necessary.
1.B. Don't have your event kit? - Bring your confirmation email to the Admin Tent where you can collect your Event Kit and  receive answers to any questions you may have.
Once you have received your event kit, make your way to Transition and look for the Check In flags and tents.
You will need to leave the following items in Transition:

• Official Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon t-shirt with Bib Number attached to the front.
• Bike with your event number sticker attached to the handle bars.
• Helmet with your event number sticker attached to the front.
• Running shoes and socks.
• Towel.
• Drink bottle.
• Any medication you may need use of during the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon (eg. asthma inhaler)
• A box or something similar to put all your things in next to your bike.
8.15am Transition CLOSES - No entry to the transition area will be allowed after this time.
8.30am Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon BRIEFING for all participants in front of the main stage container.
9.00am Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon STARTS and participants are called in swim cap colour order to get ready at the swim section of the event.

After the final participant has completed the course, controlled access for those wanting to remove bikes from transition will be  permitted from a single designated entry point under the guidance of Transition HELP TEAM Marshals until Prize-giving has been  completed.

After the prize-giving has been completed, general access to bikes in the Transition Area will be permitted. Several entries to  transition will be created and security spot checks will be carried out by Transition HELP TEAM Marshals.

You should plan to be at the venue until approximately 1pm.
